Biscuit Boy Flavors Revealed
With a name, backing artists, and song titles, Paul Heaton's new album appears to walk and talk, just like a real boy.
The album, to be released September 3rd under the ludicrous name of "Biscuit Boy," will be called "Fat Chance" and feature 10 new tracks, plus a third-time's-the-charm version of "IF". Paul has recruited keyboardist/saxophonist Martin Slattery and guitarist Scott Shields from "Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros" to help out on the album.
The Biscuit Boy explosion will begin on August 20 with the release of the single "Mitch."

Both Slattery and Shields are currently touring the US promoting the album "Global a Go-Go" in stores from July 24 to August 4, and are scheduled to go on tour with The Mescaleros in October, so don't expect a long Biscuit Boy tour. The Mescaleros were formed in 1999 by former Clash frontman, Joe Strummer, and have been called "superbly crazed." Their first album "Rock Art & The X-Ray Style" laid on beatnik tunes that Mr. Strummer called "hip-hopperbilly."
Fat Chance will be released on 4th September in Canada.
